Tina Frank: CD Cover for 'Fennesz: Bècs' (2014)

Tina Frank impressed with her vivid lecture at the Department of Digital Art. She gave an overview of her extensive work and startet with its beginnings in the early 1990s, when she, as a graphic designer, collaborated with famous Viennese music label mego and created some of the most famous CD covers and booklets. Her graphic work soon led to the creation of digital animations for music videos, including the development of software for visuals. Live performances with visuals for DJs and musicians followed, as well as art installations and digital videos for e.g. vertical cinema which demonstrate the synesthetic modalities of sound and image. Recently Tina has performed live on stage with artists such as Patti Smith, Nan Goldin, and Chicks On Speed.
